What Does the "Fits Opening" Measurement Indicate?

The "fits opening" measurement denotes the opening width you will need between your walls, existing posts or support structures. You don't need to account for the hinge and latch components separately, as these are already incorporated into the size. What Does "Physical Height" Mean? 

This is the actual height of the product. It is measured from the bottom of the frame to the top of the highest finial. Once installed, the gate will sit slightly higher, as you must provide ground clearance space.
