The "fits opening" dimension refers to the opening size (between your walls or posts) required for the gate to fit correctly. These measurements already account for the necessary space requirements for the hinge and latch components. No additional calculations are required. What Does "Height (after installation)" Mean?
The height of the gate incorporates a 50mm (2") allowance for ground clearance. The measurement is the distance between the ground and the top rail, but it does not include any decorative scrollwork above the framework.
